Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki, the eldest of three daughters, was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to a psychotherapist Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9] and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a real estate developer who retired who's grandfather left Greece in 1904 and whose grandmother was of Irish descent. The couple got married in 1976. Psaki is also of Polish ancestry.Psaki has graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In 2000, she earned an honors degree from the College of William & Mary. She is an active Chi Omega member. Psaki was a backstroke swimmer for William & Mary Tribe for two years. Psaki was first engaged in the 2001 re-election campaigns by Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack for Governor of Iowa. Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki worked as the communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S. Representative) and as the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced that Psaki would be an analyst in the 2022 United States election and the 2024 presidential election. In 2023, Psaki will host a show that MSNBC will stream on its Peacock streaming platform.
